I place high value on continuity of care, which is why I like family medicine. It allows me to get to know my patients and how their individual situations affect their health. I believe the patient-physician relationship should be a partnership in which the patient is an active participant in making informed decisions. I also believe it is important to thoroughly educate patients about their health issues.
I enjoy caring for people of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric patients. I particularly enjoy women's health, including prenatal care.
Obesity prevention and control.
I will be taking the American Board of Family Medicine exam in December of 2009.
