Before entering the field of medicine, I taught middle school science, and I am a teacher at heart.  I like the idea of empowering patients by sharing my knowledge of medical conditions and the significance of preventive care.  It is very rewarding to know that I can impact patients' lives by providing them with information that will help them make health decisions.  Getting to know each patient individually is also very important to me.

Range of Practice

I enjoy caring for patients of all ages.  I have a special interest in women's health.

Personal Interests

  • Spending time with family, especially my husband and our dog. 
  • I also enjoy running, biking and reading.
