John Vukelich, M.D.
To me, medicine is a mission. My role is earning the trust of patients by listening in a non-judgmental way, showing a sincere interest in their life, and treating them with kindness and compassion. I encourage patients to be open and honest with me. I want them to think of me as their advocate. Family medicine provides unique rewards to doctors in that it gives them an opportunity to develop long-term relationships with patients, and I consider this a great privilege.
